The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The room is very clean and near central station. The service was excellent, i had a problem with my low back and the female owner profided me an extra mattress, she brought our suitcases down stairs and even drove us to the central station because all the taxis were occupied !! This lady is a rare gem!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Kyono Mori Yurinsha is set in Kyoto, 1.7 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and less than 1 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Kyono Mori Yurinsha. The hosts are so welcoming and lovely, the location is fantastic and the freshly made breakfast was such a nice touch. Everything was beyond delicious. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Machiya Hotel YANAGI features accommodation within 1.6 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well
