Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. I was surprised how spacious the room was! It was big enough to enjoy spending time in the evenings in the room - not like the other hotels I stayed at, where I only slept because it was so tiny. The room had a small table and even a balcony! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was cleaned every day. They also supplied us with free water bottles, more tea bags and fresh towels every day. The location was good too, a short walk to the subway and in walking distance to the old city. I definitely recommend staying here!

六根ゲストハウス Rokkon guest house features accommodation located less than 1 km from the centre of Kyoto and offers a garden and a terrace. The guesthouse is situated close to Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace, making it a good spot to explore this side of Kyoto. We had a lovely two-night stay and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room was cozy with a charming small garden. Kayoko-san treated us to special teas in the evening, which was a delightful surprise after a day of exploring the city.

Toni the host was the the most friendly and cool dude I've met on my hostel adventures, he was great just to chat to but super helpful with advice and help with info about kyoto! The area is quiet which is nice and also close to everything you need.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. Great service, very clean, and beautiful location! Thank you for the stay!

The staff was very nice and accommodating and spoke both English and Chinese, making communication very easy. It's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay, and the neighborhood is a perfect jumping off place for exploring Kyoto.

Kyono Mori Yurinsha er 3 stjörnu gististaður í Kyoto, 1,7 km frá Sanjusangen-do-hofinu og 1 km frá Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni. The hosts are a very kind couple. Comfortable and clean B&B, located in a quiet area, however close to many restaurants and shops . Wonderful breakfast - like an European meal - was freshly prepared each day and always different (we stayed 5 nights).
