Located in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kyo-Anthu Inn features a garden, soundproof rooms, and free WiFi. I'm so sad we only stayed here one night. The hosts were so nice and made everything feel easy while we were there. We just needed one more night in Kyoto and this place was so much better than the first place we spent most of our time. The room was small, but just what we needed. There was good tea and when we realized we had missed printing a ticket that required a hard copy they printed it for us quickly and made sure we had it right away. I loved the breakfast here. It was a nice mix of things and they let us sit in the larger room since no one was staying in it when we were there. We will for sure try to make it back to this location when we make it out to Japan again!

Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Great place. Amazing location and Tony, the host, made it so much easier and comfortable for all of us in there. It is clean and nice and they offer traditional breakfast that's incredible. It was an incredible experience to stay there and would definitely recommend it to friends and anyone else.

Great place to stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating and spoke both English and Chinese, making communication very easy. It's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay, and the neighborhood is a perfect jumping off place for exploring Kyoto.
