Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. Perfect location, close to all the main attraction and also from the Kyoto central station. The room is big with a nice balcony and beds are comfortable. Last but not least the host is very kind and answers very quickly. We had an amazing stay :)

Located within 700 metres of Shoren-in Temple and 1.2 km of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Azukiya provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. Our quick two day trip to Kyoto was excellent and it was made perfect with our stay at Azukiya. When planning this last minute trip I was surprised that this B&B was available. The pictures and description on the site was exactly what we got. It was just PERFECT and gave us the Japanese experience. Our host was the sweetest and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There are add-ons if you stay like bike rentals and breakfast but we didn't take advantage of it but we could smell her cooking every morning and it smelled AWESOME. We wish we would have taken advantage of that. The location was perfect for us. It was far enough away from the city center for us and in walking distance to the places we wanted to visit. It was also very close to the subway that we used to start our trek back home. All in all, this place was everything we expected and even more. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Located in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kyo-Anthu Inn features a garden, soundproof rooms, and free WiFi. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This was my best stay in Japan. I had the most welcoming hosts whose recomendationions really made my time in Kyoto unforgettable. Toni also offered a lovely homemade traditional Japanese breakfast the first day.

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.5 km from the centre, Woman Only Guesthouse Nanohana (Female only) offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a shared lounge. Great place to stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating and spoke both English and Chinese, making communication very easy. It's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay, and the neighborhood is a perfect jumping off place for exploring Kyoto.
