Staff were very nice to me and very friendly. The room was excellent with AC , excellent bed and it was very clean. The bathrooms were excellent too, there was enough place to take a good shower after a long hot day in the temples. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of fruits and juice. I wish I had spent more time here I really liked it! Definitely the place exceeded my expectations, will recommend it very much to anyone visiting Jogja :)

I was served local food in the morning while I was sitting at the kitchenette having my usual breakfast I've bought myself prior to arriving (muesli, yoghurt and banana) and coffee (provided by the host). She gave me little snackettes for several days..bananas..fritters..currypuff..nasi Gudek.. Although, breakfast is not included in the booking. Im soo grateful. Thank you for being a superb host!

It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
