One of my favorite hostels so far! Everything is super clean and nice! But my favorite part was the excellent staff, everyone was so nice, welcoming and helpful and helped me organize so many things even for my ongoing trip! Also the breakfast was great! Thank you from all my heart for making these 2 nights so wonderful :-)

Maria made all arrangements for our day tours, gave us tips and recommendations for eating out and places to see, and she and her team made our stay a pleasant one. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Wibowo is a wonderful host. He came to the airport at 7:00 am and he took us to Borobudur temple, batik and silver shop, typical restaurant for lunch, Prambanan Temple and then he suggested to watch the sunset from the splendid Ijo temple.. His wife cooked a typical dinner for us and we slept very well in the room. Very good breakfast too! Thank you very much for this fantastic stay! The homestay is very welcoming

ViaVia Guesthouse is located in Yogyakarta, a 15-minute drive from the lively Malioboro shopping street and Yogyakarta Palace. It features free internet, a café and rooms with modern décor. the hostel is very comfortable to stay. from the facilities to the staff is great👍

Với khu vườn, sân hiên và nhìn rakhu vườn, Omah Guyub 2 nằm ở Jarakan, cách Bảo tàng Sonobudoyo 7.4 km. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
