Personalet, stemningen, de andre gæster - det føltes som at “komme hjem”. Vi havde tre overnatninger her, og vi endte med at bruge meget tid på at være “hjemme”, fordi der var så dejligt at være. Bedste hostel vi nogensinde har besøgt :-)

Complete facilities. Good location . Near to restaurants, cafes and mini grocery stores. Titik nol is about 25 minutes walk. Such a lovely host. I was served local food in the morning while I was sitting at the kitchenette having my usual breakfast I've bought myself prior to arriving (muesli, yoghurt and banana) and coffee (provided by the host). She gave me little snackettes for several days..bananas..fritters..currypuff..nasi Gudek.. Although, breakfast is not included in the booking. Im soo grateful. Thank you for being a superb host!

They serve coffee, snacks and fresh fruit in common area which is very nice! Close to local restaurants!

Det 1-stjernede "NOMORE" Gallery and Guesthouse ligger i Yogyakarta, 500 m fra Sultanens Palads og mindre end 1 km fra Museum Sonobudoyo. The place is tucked away in a small neighborhood, which is quite charming. Guests should be aware, though, that cars can't enter the area, so a short walk with your luggage is necessary to reach the place. The breakfast was also delicious and they even packed it to go!

Blue Garden Yogyakarta er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Yogyakarta, 11 km fra Museum Sonobudoyo. Der er udendørs swimmingpool og bjergudsigt. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Omah Guyub 2 is situated in Jarakan, 7.4 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
