But my favorite part was the excellent staff, everyone was so nice, welcoming and helpful and helped me organize so many things even for my ongoing trip! Also the breakfast was great! Thank you from all my heart for making these 2 nights so wonderful :-)

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Omah Guyub 2 is situated in Jarakan, 7.4 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
