A lovely hidden gem in Yogjakarta, small boutique hotel with lovely decoration, very friendly people, super comfortable bedding and delicious breakfast. Around the hotel are enough shops and restaurants. The nicest hotel we stayed in in Indonesia. Top

We stayed here almost a week. We continue extending our stay because we loved the homestay and the village. The village is for those who want to be on a calm part of the city and you are open to explore the local and simple life of their lovely habitants. We loved:
- A different indonesian typical breakfast is served every morning. We really enjoyed trying different dishes.
- The common areas are beautiful and comfortable.
- The staff is friendly and always willing to help and gave us very good recommendations.
- It is possible to do your laundry, the staff will take care of it.
- The room has everything you need and its very comofortable, clean and pretty.
- The kitchen is good equipped and very clean.
- The village is incredible, it is beautiful and peaceful. The people are so friendly. There are many delicious and nice restaurants nearby, you dont need to go into the city for this.
Thank you all for your effort!

Location wise it is really at the city center, right next to the Kraton and at a walking distance to other main attractions. The staff were incredible, always very friendly and gave me great suggestions for trying out local delicious food as well as events that were happening around the city. The room is basic but quite cozy with the entrance at a nice little garden. Would happily stay again 😊

Located outside of city center so is giving perfect relief after a whole day in loud city, but on the other side getting to the center or reaching local attractions requires transport.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This place was such a treat! Really relaxed with hammocks and trees and plants. Plenty of fun quotes around and a great host with a lot of knowledge. I’ve spend some nights in a room with AC and bathroom and some in a room with a fan and shared bathroom. Both were perfectly fine options. It’s just away from the busy street, so besides the mosque, it’s a very quiet place. Around the corner there are plenty bars and restaurants to cater to tourist. More local options are also just around the other corner. Definitely recommend staying here.
Charming bungalow with tropical feel. Basic but nice decot. Great location, in a quiet area, but close to restaurants and cafes. Nice swimming pool to refresh after a long day of sightseeing
It's a perfect place to stay in Yogya if you're not really into city center type of activity. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast is also good as it's homemade by the host. It's perfect intimate place for you to spend with family and friends
Very artistically decorated guesthouse.
- great location in yogya close to landmarks.
- water refill available onsite in communal kitchen.
- amazingly tasty and filling breakfast!!
- very kind and welcoming hosts.
Great hostel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean and even have hot water. Great location. Possibility to rent a motorbike.
The house was in a quiet neighborhood with friendly people around. It was in a good location and the pool was perfect to cool down. The hosts made us a very sweet welcome basket with fresh fruit. We loved the house and will definitely book it again when we come to Yogya.
Beautiful guesthouse built in traditional Indonesian style with a lot of characteristic wood carvings. The venue is located about 15 min drive from the busy city center. The location is very quiet.
We had booked a family room for four. This was a very spacious room with two large beds, private terrace and bathroom. Breakfast is served on the private terrace and consists of omelet, toast, fresh fruit, cake and coffee/tea.
Absolutely great location. Very city centre, but on a small and quiet street. My room was very quiet, well functioning air conditioning. If you are doing your trip on a budget, you may consider this guesthouse.
