Set within 8.8 km of Owl House Museum in Nieu-Bethesda, Ganora Guest Farm, Camping and Excursions provides accommodation with seating area. I loved the quiet, friendly setting. There are several walks accessible from the farm. The area is known for a very special geological history. The evening fossil talk provided many insights into a time period I had never heard of. The information was informative and presented in an entertaining way that kept everyone interested. The room was very clean, the linen exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the historical farmhouse (built in 1776) where meals were served. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and providing customs meals.

Featuring free WiFi, Denmark Farm Stay is situated along the R61 road, 30 km from Cradock and 100 km away from Graaff-Reinet. The Mountain Zebra National Park is 20 km away. Great place to stay on our way to the Addo Elephant Park. The hosts helped us to use an alternative route because they heard there had been an accident on the regular route.

The owners, Mrs. Judy Browne & her husband, are very amiable and super helpful in ensuring we have a comfortable stay at their place. Their accommodation is one of the closest you can get to the Tiffindel Ski Resort (unfortunately closed during our time visiting the place). We are a group of 8 people and really enjoying our stay at the Den Hagen Guest Farm, the house is homey, and the location is very serene and beautiful, the perfect escape to refresh your head and mind.

Situated in Lady Grey in the Eastern Cape region, Saffier river cottage has a garden. The property is 600 metres from Arbroath and free private parking is available. Rustic farmhouse experience, just what we needed. Would love to stay for a week with friends or family. The optional dinner and breakfast we decided to take was delicious and the instructions how to prepare the food, was a nice touch. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the cottage.

Hillmoor Stone Cottage is situated in Hillvue and offers free bikes and barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. The location was perfect for is after a long road trip. The place was beautiful, cozy and warm. Brenda and Ivan are such lovely people they welcomed us at our arrival. Loved the house and the history of it. Wish we could stay longer to walk around the farm

Set in the rural village of Bathurst, Kingston Farm offers accommodation on a working appaloosa and duck farm. Featuring BBQ facilities, the property also has a bar on site. Charming property that has retained all the old western cape farm style. The hosts, Fred and Carla, and food are exceptional. The addition of an outside pool and seating area is lovely and we spent the whole evening outside enjoying the summer night and Carla’s local nibble platter and wine.

Located 14km from Maclear, Fairbairn Guest Farm is set amongst tranquil surroundings and features a garden, barbecue facilities and the Maclear Country Club & Golf Estate is a 15-minute drive away. Remoteness and solitude complemented by wonderful host and staff. Delightfully decorated and spacious living area with practical common space for catering and meals etc. All our needs met and the personal touch by our host Linky.

Finchley Farm Cottages is located in Willowmore and features a pool with a view and pool views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the farm stay free of charge. just off the highway to have a good rest before we keep driving.
