We booked a single room, but Hester upgraded our booking to a self service cottage with excellent facilities. Breakfast was included in our booking and we still had the privilege of enjoying our breakfasts. Hester's husband also gave us an tour of the fossil museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A supper were offered at a very fair price, which we accepted and it was delivered to our cottage. Very tasty Karoo tripe and a chicken potjiekos.

The owners, Mrs. Judy Browne & her husband, are very amiable and super helpful in ensuring we have a comfortable stay at their place. Their accommodation is one of the closest you can get to the Tiffindel Ski Resort (unfortunately closed during our time visiting the place). We are a group of 8 people and really enjoying our stay at the Den Hagen Guest Farm, the house is homey, and the location is very serene and beautiful, the perfect escape to refresh your head and mind.

Rustic farmhouse experience, just what we needed. Would love to stay for a week with friends or family. The optional dinner and breakfast we decided to take was delicious and the instructions how to prepare the food, was a nice touch. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the cottage.

Hillmoor Stone Cottage, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis, jardín y pista de tenis, dispone de alojamiento en Hillvue con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín. The location was perfect for is after a long road trip. The place was beautiful, cozy and warm. Brenda and Ivan are such lovely people they welcomed us at our arrival. Loved the house and the history of it. Wish we could stay longer to walk around the farm

El Kingston Farm está situado en la localidad rural de Bathurst y ofrece alojamiento en una granja con apaguosa y pato. El establecimiento cuenta con zona de barbacoa y bar. What a great place to stay over! Our guests were so friendly! After a coffee with self baked cake we took a refreshing dive in the pool. Afterwards we could enjoy an amazing diner (the hostess is a chef!) with a splendid wine. Our accomodation was very clean. It had a seperate kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a super large master bedroom with views on the garden. We had a lovely stay. Just what we needed on our road trip to Cape Town. Very much worth a visit.

El Fairbairn Guest Farm está situado a 14 km de Maclear, en un entorno tranquilo, y cuenta con jardín y zona de barbacoa. El club de campo y golf Maclear está a 15 minutos en coche. The accommodation was brilliant. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Setting was stunning. Especially watching the rain fall while sitting on the porch. The service from Eben was spot on. He was very helpful and, when requested, he gave us great advice on travel routes.
