Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of mountain, Den Hagen Guest Farm is located in Rhodes, 16 km from Tiffindell Ski resort. The hosts, Roger and Judy were a delightful couple who went out of their way to be helpful and made sure we had a comfortable and tranquil stay. The cottage was well equipped, quaint and in keeping with a retro farm stay.

Saffier river cottage Farmstay is located in Lady Grey. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is situated 33 km from Lady Grey Dam. Food was perfect as usual. Host was excellent and we really enjoyed the Stay.

Kransplaas - Springbok Cottage, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Adendorp, 35 km from Valley of Desolation, 21 km from Graaff-Reinet Railway Station, as well as 22 km from Reinet House... Beautiful quiet spot just outside of Graaf-Reniet. Rosanne was helpful when we needed an extra night accommodation at the last minute. Spotlessly clean and private, highly recommend.

Situated in Haga-Haga in the Eastern Cape region and Kei Mouth Country Club reachable within 33 km, OppiePlaas Self Catering Country Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's... We Had breakfast and supper here for two nights and it was really good. The wood fired pizza oven not only supplied our pizza's but also made the breakfast rolls too. The food and alcohol prices were reasonable too.

Situated in Hillvue, Hillmoor Stone Cottage offers free bikes, a garden and a barbecue. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. Very peaceful and relaxing. Got to experience what life would be like on a sheep farm in the freestate. Bedrooms are comfortable and each one has its own bathroom, water pressure in the shower is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and self-catering is made easy. Freedom to take long walks was also nice bonus to have as he scenery is beautiful. Lots of photography opportunities around the property as well. Our visit was in summer after some rain but I imagine winter would be really enjoyable around the fires with delicious wholesome meals. We would love to return one day.

Set within 8.8 km of Owl House Museum in Nieu-Bethesda, Ganora Guest Farm, Camping and Excursions provides accommodation with seating area. I loved the quiet, friendly setting. There are several walks accessible from the farm. The area is known for a very special geological history. The evening fossil talk provided many insights into a time period I had never heard of. The information was informative and presented in an entertaining way that kept everyone interested. The room was very clean, the linen exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the historical farmhouse (built in 1776) where meals were served. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and providing customs meals.

Situated just 21 km from Royal Port Alfred Golf Club, Kingston Farm features accommodation in Bathurst with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as room service. Charming property that has retained all the old western cape farm style. The hosts, Fred and Carla, and food are exceptional. The addition of an outside pool and seating area is lovely and we spent the whole evening outside enjoying the summer night and Carla’s local nibble platter and wine.

Finchley Farm Cottages is located in Willowmore and features a pool with a view and mountain views. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the farm stay free of charge. Comfortable farm stay. Perfect stop over. We were able to relax in a beautiful garden and enjoy the beauty of nature. We had all that we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Pabala Private Nature Reserve, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is situated in Hankey, 7.4 km from Hankey Golf Course, 23 km from Gamtoos River Mouth Reserve, as well as 31 km from... Ettienne and Dean were very accommodating. Property had stunning views. The food included was really delicious.
