There are several walks accessible from the farm. The area is known for a very special geological history. The evening fossil talk provided many insights into a time period I had never heard of. The information was informative and presented in an entertaining way that kept everyone interested. The room was very clean, the linen exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the historical farmhouse (built in 1776) where meals were served. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and providing customs meals.

Denmark Farm Stay ligger langs vejen R61, 30 km fra Cradock og 100 km fra Graaff-Reinet. Der er gratis wi-fi. Nationalparken Zebra ligger 20 km derfra. Beautiful, friendly welcoming.

Den Hagen Guest Farm ligger på Rhodos, 16 km fra skisportsstedet Tiffindell. Der er have, fælles opholdsstue og bjergudsigt. Gæsterne har adgang til bordtennis, dart og gratis privat parkering. The hosts, Roger and Judy were a delightful couple who went out of their way to be helpful and made sure we had a comfortable and tranquil stay. The cottage was well equipped, quaint and in keeping with a retro farm stay.

Saffier River Cottage Farmstay ligger i Lady Grey. Der er adgang til en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet er røgfrit og ligger 33 km fra Lady Grey Dam. Food was perfect as usual. Host was excellent and we really enjoyed the Stay.

Hillmoor Stone Cottage ligger i Hillvue og har gratis cykler, have, tennisbane, gratis wi-fi og udsigt til haven. The location was perfect for is after a long road trip. The place was beautiful, cozy and warm. Brenda and Ivan are such lovely people they welcomed us at our arrival. Loved the house and the history of it. Wish we could stay longer to walk around the farm

Kingston Farm ligger i landsbyen Bathurst og tilbyder indkvartering på en fungerende appaloosa og andefarm. Der er grillfaciliteter og bar på stedet. What a great place to stay over! Our guests were so friendly! After a coffee with self baked cake we took a refreshing dive in the pool. Afterwards we could enjoy an amazing diner (the hostess is a chef!) with a splendid wine. Our accomodation was very clean. It had a seperate kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a super large master bedroom with views on the garden. We had a lovely stay. Just what we needed on our road trip to Cape Town. Very much worth a visit.

Fairbairn Guest Farm ligger i rolige omgivelser, 14 km fra Maclear og 15 minutters kørsel fra Maclear Country Club & Golf Estate. Der er have og grillfaciliteter. The accommodation was brilliant. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Setting was stunning. Especially watching the rain fall while sitting on the porch. The service from Eben was spot on. He was very helpful and, when requested, he gave us great advice on travel routes.

Finchley Farm Cottages ligger i Willowmore og har pool med udsigt og pooludsigt. Der er gratis wi-fi og gratis parkering på stedet. Overnatningsstedet har familieværelser og solterrasse. just off the highway to have a good rest before we keep driving.

Pabala Private Nature Reserve ligger i det malariafrie Østkap, blot 20 minutters kørsel fra motorvej N2. Gården ligger i Loerie-kvarteret og tilbyder indkvartering i bungalow-stil samt enkle telte. The Pabala Nature Reserve is easy to find, as it is directly at the R330, not far away from Hankey. We had a mountain view suite in walking distance to the restaurant. The suites offer you a lot of privacy and the view is stunning. The equipment is modern and cosy with a nice fire place for cooler days. The place was very clean and you can park in front of the house. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, the food was very good, especially the french toast (breakfast) was delicious! The prices at the restaurant are reasonable and we could watch the animals (like peacocks) from there. We did a game drive on our own and saw Giraffes, golden-brownish Wildebeests (!), Impalas and Nyalas. We liked the feeling, that the owner and the whole staff really take care of the animals and they have an eye on beekeeping as well. If you are looking for tranquility to relax and enjoy the bush feeling, this is a wonderful place to go to. A special thanks to Ettienne, who did a great job to meet all our needs.
