I stayed for a month here and I loved it so much I didn’t want to leave! Laura and Walter were so kind and so helpful, and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The cottage has everything that is needed for both a short and a longer stay. The property has the most amazing view over the Melville Koppies reserve and it is so private, peaceful and quiet; and I never felt unsafe at all. Just around the corner you have Melville which has plenty of restaurants and cafes, and not too far down the road you have a supermarket, so it was very convenient. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

The Melville Quarters is a recently renovated apartment in Johannesburg where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden, and barbecue facilities. Everything about the house - beautiful and cosy. It had everything we needed. Location was great and convenient with many eateries round the corner. The host was friendly and prompt. We felt very safe. We fortunately were there on a Sunday morning and had a lovely time at the flea market opposite the house.
