I stayed at this place for 5 days, was traveling alone. It was such a good experience! I really loved the place and Denise was amazing, such a lovely person with a good heart. I will definitely come back to that place later on!

Situated in the suburb of Melville in Johannesburg, Lucky Bean Guesthouse features a lush garden and an outdoor pool. The guest house is 1 km from the Country Club. Absolutely everything. The property is simply gorgeous, staff is super nice and helpful, location is perfect and breakfast is super good. Moreover, Conway is always there to look after his guests and to provide the best advice and recommendations. Will definitely repeat.

Offering comfortable guest rooms with private garden and free parking, this bed and breakfast is located in the suburb of Melville. Free WiFi is provided. The house is very unique and well decorated. It’s very cozy and very much moves up to the title of “guesthouse”. The hosts are amazing and very accommodating.

Laura and Walter were so kind and so helpful, and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The cottage has everything that is needed for both a short and a longer stay. The property has the most amazing view over the Melville Koppies reserve and it is so private, peaceful and quiet; and I never felt unsafe at all. Just around the corner you have Melville which has plenty of restaurants and cafes, and not too far down the road you have a supermarket, so it was very convenient. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

And Melville centre which is 5-10 mins walk away does have a strip of bars, and restaurants etc. 3) The area is safe and the property is very secure 4) This property is in a good central location. Melville is about 10-15 mins drive from Wits Univ, and the CBD. 5) There were no power cuts in the 7 days that we were there 6) The parking is secure, within the electrified fence of the property and electric gates, also the parking area is spacious 7) There is a supermarket and fast food outlet about 5 mins walk away 8) The owners live over the wall in the next house in the street, so that you have complete privacy 9) The owners Pierre and Corlien are very helpful In summary this was very good value for money

With a garden, 84 on Fourth is located in the cultural heart of Melville in Johannesburg. It offers free WiFi access in all areas. The room was very comfortable and the other premises (the restaurant area and the courtyard with a garden) were super well-maintained and pleasant. Helpful and friendly staff, and great free breakfast consisting of 2 courses (one with yoghurt and muesli and the other with a warm dish such as an omelette).
