Attractively located in the centre of Istanbul, DORUK PALAS HOTEL features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. We arrived at 2.45 am and the night manager was kind enough to make some tea and wait till we settled down. In the morning, we met Ali who waited for my wife to wrap the breakfast as we were a bit slow from the travel. Osman, the hero was great at casually greeting every guest and making them feel at home. My wife who is averse to pets also took to his kindness and petted him. The best highlight is how an owner makes things really lively for you. Ahmet is the reason I would recommend this place to friends travelling. Right from accommodating our extension to giving us his honest recommendations about the city and culture, he never let us feel out of place. The room view was splendid and it's near most of the top things you would want to see in Istanbul. Lucky to have bumped into this listing and enhanced our Istanbul and Turkish experience.

Definitely meets every reasonable need. The staff is exceptionally kind and efficient. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with immediate access to the tram and metro. We used the hotel to book a shuttle to and from the airport. The service is reliable, and the price is reasonable. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast is good. We will definitely stay at the hotel again on our next vacation in Istanbul.
