Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Loved my stay at this hotel, it’s in the center where you can find many restaurants/shops and the mall is only 5min by walking. The staff were great and the breakfast had a good variety, it’s perfect for its price in Funchal!

The staff is very friendly, the location of the room is very good but most of all, the size and cleanest of the room! it was very spacious, and always super clean!

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Beautiful situation with perfectly clean and great sized room. Breakfast was varied and good as inclusive. Nice bar and pool areas. Convenient for buses to Funchal.also very convenient for good selection of restaurants close by.

Katru dienu brokastīs bija arī nedaudz atķirīgi ēdieni pieejami. Priecēja arī tas, ka bija atsevisķs galdiņš, kur bija lokālie ēdieni, piemēram sezonas augļi un kūka. Viesnīca pāris soļu attālumā no leilāka pārtikas veikala un auto nomas. Tāpat netālu vairāki diezgan labi restorāni. Tieši pie viesnīcas autobusa pietura, lai aizbrauktu līdz centram, tāpat tajā pieturā pietur autobuss, kas kursē uz/no lidostu.

Featuring a bar and free WiFi, Vila Vicência is located in Funchal, 600 metres from Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km from Formosa Beach. Location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. Short walk to the ocean
