Nesen atjaunotā četrzvaigžņu viesnīca Baía Azul atrodas lieliskā vietā, 4 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no Funšalas pludmales. The buffet breakfast had a great selection everyday with quality foods, the view was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We liked that you could rent the sauna for an hour all to yourself. All the drinks and food at the bar were delicious and well made. Sitting out on the main terrace with the views of the ocean and big comfortable chairs was very nice.

Located in the heart of Funchal’s Lido area, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from the city centre and boasts contemporary interiors and an outdoor pool with a terrace. That was my first stay at Madeira - and it was the perfect beginning of the vacation! We’ve been upgraded from a seaview room to something - i don’t know - similar to penthouse seaview, featuring huge window and terrace with ocean and pool view. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, room is clean, new and comfortable. There’s a comfortable parking garage, make sure you’ll pay for it at the reception, it will be cheaper (8 euro/day)

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. Staffs are very friendly and helpful! Their response to my questions before and during my stay were always quick and helpful. Martin and two ladies at the front desk provided me many good sightseeing suggestions. On my husband"s birthday a fresh chocolate cake was delivered to the room. Breakfast buffet is really good. The day after Christmas we had the delicious buffet dinner with lamb chop and duck entrees. I wish we could have stayed longer to view the new year Eve famous fireworks.

Greznā viesnīca atrodas Funšalā. No viesnīcas paveras panorāmas skats uz Atlantijas okeānu. Viesnīcai ir iekštelpu un āra baseins, kā arī spa. Numuriem ir balkons un kabeļtelevīzija. Everything: everyone so helpful and kind. The hotel is very well located and the facilities are very good. Breakfast and dinner are awesome: wel worth the money.

Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Great hotel, amazing staff. A++
