As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. Very beautiful well maintained property. Rooms, facilities and grounds were all well maintained. Staff were always helpful.

Situated atop a natural peninsula, The Cliff Bay provides panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and private sea access. The location was really exclusive, as one of the few hotels with direct access to the ocean. The employees were nice, accommodating and really professional, it didn't look like they were smiling just for the sake of it. The whole hotel radiated a very sophisticated impression. The food was at a very high level, both in terms of taste and quality.

Located in the heart of Funchal’s Lido area, this 4-star hotel is a short walk from the city centre and boasts contemporary interiors and an outdoor pool with a terrace. That was my first stay at Madeira - and it was the perfect beginning of the vacation! We’ve been upgraded from a seaview room to something - i don’t know - similar to penthouse seaview, featuring huge window and terrace with ocean and pool view. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, room is clean, new and comfortable. There’s a comfortable parking garage, make sure you’ll pay for it at the reception, it will be cheaper (8 euro/day)

With excellent indoor and outdoor pools, this Madeira resort offers a broad range of relaxation options including sauna and hydro-massage. The hotel staff are really great, nice and helpful people. Everything is as described and this was my 3.time in this hotel. I like the location, the little kitchen in the room, the swiming pool. It is a good value for the money.
