We arrived on what was actually the official grand opening day! Didn't know that. But they had put out flowers and sculptures in the foyer. The staff were amazing. Very helpful. I asked about baseball tickets and the staff member checked with her colleagues then ran up to the room with a map for a ticket reseller nearby. Room was great, good size. More than double the size of a similar priced room in Shinjuku.

Clean , Cosy and comfortable room size for 2 adults and a 3 year old. Well equipped kitchenette. Family mart just down the road. Few Metro lines walkable distance. Ginza line had elevator access so we used that mostly , easier with baby stroller. We arrived from Narita via skyliner to Ueno and took a cab to hotel (cost 500yen). Front desk staff were really friendly!! Met a fellow Malaysian at the counter and she was lovely to talk to! Quiet area but there are eateries around and it’s convenient to get to the town areas via metro. I’d book this place again if I’m going back to Japan.

Everything was absolutely perfect, better than expected. The rooms were very large and all the necessary equipment was there. Very quiet rooms, everything seems new and well maintained, cleaning was perfect. The front staff was absolutely amazing as well, they helped us so much and were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is really convenient, lots of transport options (Yamanote, Hibiya, Ginza, Chiyoda lines etc...) within 5 minutes walk. We will definitely go back to this hotel next time!! Situated 1.5 km from Sensoji Temple, MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North provides free WiFi in all areas. The accommodation features a hot tub. The units have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. Very good design of the space . very clean and quiet !

The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

APA Hotel Asakusa Shin Okachimachi Ekimae menawarkan akomodasi bintang 3, berlokasi di Tokyo, 4 menit jalan kaki dari Choen-ji Temple dan 500 m dari The Shitaya Shrine. Location was good, about 5 min walk to train station. Quiet at night, and not on a very busy street. Extremely clean and has that standard APA layout. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our luggage before and after our stay.

Bed was comfortable. It was only a 5 min walk to Ueno Station. Close to convenience store. Staff was friendly/helpful. I highly recommend.

Berlokasi terbaik di Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Ekimae menyediakan sarapan prasmanan dan WiFi gratis di seluruh area akomodasi. The hotel is really close to Ueno station. Very good for getting out of town or around Tokyo. I wanted to book it for another stay in Tokyo but unfortunately it wasn't available. I highly recommend this hotel as it was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff was very welcoming. I enjoyed the onsen/hot baths on the 14th floor. We even experienced an earthquake at 4 am. The building is very safe. I would be happy to come back.
