Well set in the centre of Tokyo, &Here TOKYO UENO provides 3-star accommodation close to Ryuseido Shinjo-in Temple and Shitamachi Museum. Location was perfect. A couple of meters away from 3 or 4 metro stations. 7-11, Lawson and Family Mart right around the corner. Loved the room! It was spacious. The toilet was separate to the shower which really helped with getting out the door in the morning.

Clean , Cosy and comfortable room size for 2 adults and a 3 year old. Well equipped kitchenette. Family mart just down the road. Few Metro lines walkable distance. Ginza line had elevator access so we used that mostly , easier with baby stroller. We arrived from Narita via skyliner to Ueno and took a cab to hotel (cost 500yen). Front desk staff were really friendly!! Met a fellow Malaysian at the counter and she was lovely to talk to! Quiet area but there are eateries around and it’s convenient to get to the town areas via metro. I’d book this place again if I’m going back to Japan.

Staff were super lovely and helpful. The room was such a nice escape from the city when similar priced options were a tiny room in the middle of the city.

Location was good, about 5 min walk to train station. Quiet at night, and not on a very busy street. Extremely clean and has that standard APA layout. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our luggage before and after our stay.

It was only a 5 min walk to Ueno Station. Close to convenience store. Staff was friendly/helpful. I highly recommend.

Well located in Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Ekimae provides a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The hotel is really close to Ueno station. Very good for getting out of town or around Tokyo. I wanted to book it for another stay in Tokyo but unfortunately it wasn't available. I highly recommend this hotel as it was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the staff was very welcoming. I enjoyed the onsen/hot baths on the 14th floor. We even experienced an earthquake at 4 am. The building is very safe. I would be happy to come back.
