The breakfast scenario and experience were unbelievable. I never rate hotels. This one, I will. One of the few hotels I have traveled to in the world which I will return. Truly awesome. And extremely relaxing!

Well situated in the Ukyo Ward district of Kyoto, Homm Stay Nagi Arashiyama Kyoto By Banyan Group is located 2.8 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, 6.3 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and 6.3 km from... The room was very modern and spacious with a very large bathroom and shower, plus a large sofa area. It was also very close to the JR station which was only a 15 minute ride to Kyoto main station.

Conveniently set in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu Resort is located 1.6 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.7 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 4.5... This is a traditional and beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room with an outdoor tub on our 2nd night which was exceptionally nice. The staff were wonderful and the onsen was fantastic. We had dinner in the bar on the first night which was very zen and i loved going to dinner in my yukata after the onsen.

Located in Kyoto and with Arashiama Bamboo Grove reachable within 1.3 km, Yado Arashiyama -13歳以上限定- provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Everything. The room is so nice modern and chic. Location is by the bridge. Staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is healthy and delicious. I stayed 3 nights for the breakfast. Chef tried to change to different menu for me. The bus stop is just 2 min walk.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the bed and room were comfortable and clean, and the parking was super useful. I'd stay here again

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. Love this hotel, second time staying here. Location is perfect, dinner and breakfast is great and staff is lovely!

Ideally set in the Ukyo Ward district of Kyoto, Sun Members Kyoto Saga is situated 2.2 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 3.7 km from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 5.6 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.

A quiet and beautiful respite from the city. The garden and river views are lovely and the free champagne at the waterfront cafe after a long day of walking was greatly appreciated. The staff were welcoming and helpful every step of the way.
