Everything was great! The host was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, with many options to choose from. Located in Edinburgh's historic New Town and 15 minutes' walk from the city centre, the family-run McCrae's Bed and Breakfast is a traditional 19th-century property with a mix of period and modern... From the moment we booked, everything was brilliant. John's communication was excellent and he was very accommodating even despite our flight being delayed and not arriving close to midnight. We arrived to a beautiful big , warm and cosy room - we immediately felt at home. We had amazing sleep! The breakfast was brilliant too - John makes a beautiful porridge and eggs, and has nice little treats for brekkie. He also gave us really good insights into what to do in Edinburgh. Finally, John was very accommodating for us with leaving our bags, etc which we really appreciated. Had an amazing time and would 100% recommend Mc Craes BnB to everyone.

The room was really cozy , I had a very good sleep in the bed. The adjacent bathroom was as clean as one could dream of and the same beautiful. All the organisation was really good !! I was very happy with my stay !! Thanks a lot !

Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Edinburgh. Highly recommended.

Perfectly close to McDonald Road tram stop. Only 5 minutes to city centre. Supermarkets close by. Apartment lovely and warm. Washing machine very handy. Beds were comfortable. Apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.
