We loved EVERYTHING about The Little Mill Inn. The proprietors, staff, accommodation, cleanliness, quality of restaurant and bar provisions and general ambiance inside and out We will be thrilled to stay at The Little Mill Inn again on a future visit to the area !!!!
Chesterfield
Located within 23 km of FlyDSA Arena and 35 km of Buxton Opera House in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Chatsworth House. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. This was our favorite place that we stayed during our two week vacation in England! The quality is very high. Bed was comfortable, nice heated floors in the bathroom, robes to wear, beautiful view out the window, delicious scone greeting us. The list goes on. Also, breakfast was delicious!

The location was ideal for us to attend the Festival programme at Cliff College. The property was spotlessly clean, warm and furnished to a high standard, with everything we needed for a 4 night break. Excellent communication with hosts - prompt and helpful replies to all our questions.
Everything appeared brand new and of top quality. Spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail and a nice eye for stylish decor. The kitchen was well-equipped, the showers great and the hot tub superb. Location is ideal.

Room splendid , spotless and well equipped - excellent breakfast , eggs royale is not a choice often found - ideal location - only one blue badge parking bay but we managed .
First of all may I say we do not wear white gloves and forage around looking for dust or hairs like some tv programs. We are down to earth with real expectations. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept really well. We loved the old manor type building and history. The location was easily accessible to the road systems. We had a tight budget and in regard to this we didn't expect perfection and considered it very good value for money. We would use it again.
The location of this hotel is the best part and the reason most will book. I booked a budget room which was as expected. It was very clean, warm and very average. The artwork chosen around the hotel is not fitting to the rest mod the decor and cheapen the hotel. The staff were polite, accommodating and available.

We stayed here as it was ideally located for Chatsworth and we were very happy with our stay. Lovely, cosy decor and all areas were spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly and efficient and the restaurant food and wines were great (and good value). The location was very quiet so no problems sleeping!
