Great location, wonderful and accommodating hosts. Stayed in a beautiful shepherds hut and absolutely loved it. The owners clearly put a lot of effort and love into running this gorgeous place! Will be staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Everything was great from the mattress and room facilities to the breakfast and all of the staff were really friendly. This was my second stay at Little John. Once again a great holiday. Staff very friendly, really great guys. I had a different room this time but it was also spacious and clean. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the Peak District. I will definitely be back. Thanks!
Lovely hotel, all brand new, and spotlessly clean. The rooms were decorated very well, with great tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was very powerful. The bed was a little firm for my liking but comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and served quickly, and the staff were very attentive. Great location in the village, and car parking was safe and secure.
Magnificent place for a stay in the beautiful Peak District. Quite chique and very well kept building. The room was spacious and shower very nice - ideal after a beautiful hike with the hotel as perfect start and finish location. The restaurant offered many choices and delivered on quality.
Ideal location set in a small village with great walks nearby and local bakery just down the road. Lovely little pub with good selection of beer and friendly staff. Room was fantastic and clean, bed and furniture were great really enjoyed our stay.
