Situated in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, in picturesque Dorchester, The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire is one of Britain’s oldest coaching inns. Breakfast was excellent!!!, many choices and good different options. great service. I would go back if I need an hotel in same area. I will recommend this hotel to y friends and family.

The location is stunning! We had a great time. Tony - the host, was extremely welcoming and super knowledgeable in the area, so he directed us to visit very lovely villages around. He also provided us with bikes for a cycle. The room was perfect - it had a coffee machine and a fridge. Our room look right outside into the stunning property! Beautiful view. The bonus was the two lovely dogs Nala and Zack. The cutest little creatures - very loving and super friendly.

The Garden Room was a neat, comfortable and cosy little cottage in a quiet area of a country estate. It had all facilities we needed, good shower & bathroom, the bedroom was a lovely room although a little cramped for two people travelling with 2 large suitcases and backpacks. There was little room on each side of the bed to move around comfortably, however it would suit a single traveller with minimal luggage. The owners were helpful with information when required otherwise they left us to enjoy the lovely and quiet surrounds.

The staff, especially Ana, went over and above to make our stay comfortable.
