Less than 350 metres from the seafront, No. 33 Huntstanton is a boutique establishment, stylishly decorated offering room-only accommodation. Bellissima struttura con camera con arredamento moderno e con molto spazio. Bagno nuovo (forse avrei dato un pò più di spazio al lavandino relegato in un angolo). Non posso dare un giudizio sul personale in quanto al nostro arrivo le chiavi erano all'ingresso da ritirare con un codice e abbiamo visto solo la signora un attimo per i saluti la mattina dopo. Gentile l'accoglienza con torta al cioccolato.

A partire da febbraio 2022 i nostri parcheggi sono nuovamente operativi. Il nostro parcheggio è limitato e i posti vengono assegnati in base all’ordine di arrivo. Breakfast was excellent with high quality local produce. Rooms clean with good tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is central to Cromer and has great views.

The Fishmongers Tavern, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Sheringham, less than 1 km from Sheringham Beach, 20 km from Blickling Hall, as well as 47 km from Houghton Hall. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food, dinner and breakfast was amazing and varied with many local food options and catered well for Gluten Free guests. The room was clean and spacious with good tea and coffee making facilities and a good selection of biscuits. Lovely beer garden.

Set in North Lopham, Kings Head features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. A perfect little country pub stay with a personable service from hosts Louise & Martin. We chose this accommodation to stay the night before a day at Snetterton race circuit which is just 7 mins up the lanes from here - nowhere is closer! We arrived early evening on a Sunday and kitchen was closed but Martin suggested we could get a take away in and even provided us with cutlery and crockery - very accommodating indeed. Rooms were out the back in converted stables, lovely and clean, comfy and a quiet nights sleep. Will 100% stay again, thank you very much.

The Crown Inn, a property with a bar, is situated in Gayton, 16 km from Houghton Hall, 11 km from Castle Rising Castle, as well as 12 km from Castle Acre Castle. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, given that it was a pub. I was expecting a lot of noise in a pub on a Saturday night, but it didn't happen. The bar doesn't play music or TV and the customers weren't very loud (though the rooms do overlook the beer garden, so you can hear some talking if you open the windows). Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were super-friendly, helpful, and polite. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the main roads and the coast. Probably the best room in a pub I've ever had, and definitely on my list of 'places to stay when I go birding in Norfolk' from now on!

Located in Grimston, the recently renovated The Old Bell B&B offers accommodation 13 km from Houghton Hall and 7.1 km from Castle Rising Castle. Accoglienza perfetta Locali puliti arredamento perfetto curato nei minimi dettagli. Colazione ottima.

The Dower House has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Fakenham, 21 km from Houghton Hall. It is located 27 km from Blickling Hall and offers a housekeeping service. On arrival I was given a warm welcome by Elizabeth, who owns the property. Breakfast is excellent with nothing spared. Elizabeth is very informative of the village and surrounding area. I was there for some bird watching and Dower House is well situated for all the local reserves. Mottey, Elizabeth's young black Labrador, is a lovely, friendly dog. All in all I had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who visits the area. There is a small shop and post office in the village and Fakenham has plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and take-aways.

Situated in Banham and only 42 km from The Apex, Bluebell Barn features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was lovely from the moment we arrived with a warm, friendly welcome, a cuddle with Ted the dog, beautiful accommodation with a lovely comfy bed. We both had an amazing night's sleep. We will be back.

Boasting a garden, 1 ivy cottages the street norton subcourse NR146RS features accommodation in Norwich with free WiFi and garden views. Although I did not book breakfast, there was self-service available within the room. After walking over 30 miles that day, it was a warm, comfortable experience, welcoming and exactly what I needed. No issues whatsoever.

The Ship Inn, a property with a bar, is located in Weybourne, 41 km from Houghton Hall, 12 km from Blakeney Point, as well as 14 km from Cromer Pier. Quiet room, lovely location, friendly staff, superb breakfast. I stayed 3 nights. A lot of thought, care and attention go into making The Ship Inn a lovely place to stay.
