As of February 2022 our Car Parking facilities are back in operation. Our car park is limited and is on a first come first served basis. Breakfast was excellent with high quality local produce. Rooms clean with good tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is central to Cromer and has great views.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food, dinner and breakfast was amazing and varied with many local food options and catered well for Gluten Free guests. The room was clean and spacious with good tea and coffee making facilities and a good selection of biscuits. Lovely beer garden.

A perfect little country pub stay with a personable service from hosts Louise & Martin. We chose this accommodation to stay the night before a day at Snetterton race circuit which is just 7 mins up the lanes from here - nowhere is closer! We arrived early evening on a Sunday and kitchen was closed but Martin suggested we could get a take away in and even provided us with cutlery and crockery - very accommodating indeed. Rooms were out the back in converted stables, lovely and clean, comfy and a quiet nights sleep. Will 100% stay again, thank you very much.

The Crown Inn er gististaður með bar í Gayton, 16 km frá Houghton Hall, 11 km frá Castle Rising Castle og 12 km frá Castle Acre Castle. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, given that it was a pub. I was expecting a lot of noise in a pub on a Saturday night, but it didn't happen. The bar doesn't play music or TV and the customers weren't very loud (though the rooms do overlook the beer garden, so you can hear some talking if you open the windows). Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were super-friendly, helpful, and polite. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the main roads and the coast. Probably the best room in a pub I've ever had, and definitely on my list of 'places to stay when I go birding in Norfolk' from now on!

The Old Bell er nýlega enduruppgert gistirými í Grimston, 13 km frá Houghton Hall og 7,1 km frá Castle Rising Castle. We spent 3 nights here and it was fantastic! Our room was modern, cosy and relaxing. We Loved the decor throughout the whole property as every little detail was thought about. The hosts were amazing, attentive and sweet, nothing was too much for them. The daily continental breakfast was perfect, Jackie and Greg were friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to and gave us so much advice on where to explore. They made our stay such a pleasure. The old bell is also in such a good location, we would highly recommend the old bell and will definitely be going back - we couldn’t fault our stay at all.

On arrival I was given a warm welcome by Elizabeth, who owns the property. Breakfast is excellent with nothing spared. Elizabeth is very informative of the village and surrounding area. I was there for some bird watching and Dower House is well situated for all the local reserves. Mottey, Elizabeth's young black Labrador, is a lovely, friendly dog. All in all I had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who visits the area. There is a small shop and post office in the village and Fakenham has plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and take-aways.

Everything was lovely from the moment we arrived with a warm, friendly welcome, a cuddle with Ted the dog, beautiful accommodation with a lovely comfy bed. We both had an amazing night's sleep. We will be back.

Although I did not book breakfast, there was self-service available within the room. After walking over 30 miles that day, it was a warm, comfortable experience, welcoming and exactly what I needed. No issues whatsoever.
