Breakfasts are all made from high quality local produce, with a selection of traditional full English breakfasts or vegetarian and continental options. We really enjoyed our stay here, Shiralee made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.. she also cooks a delicious English breakfast!! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. Lovely warm welcome, beautiful room, spotlessly clean. The only place we have stayed which was better in reality than the advertising photos. Attention to detail was excellent, down to the herbal tea selection in the room.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Beautifully presented, well located and spotless. We loved the decor and finishing touches. Hosts were exceptional and breakfast was AMAZING. We cannot recommend this property enough. We ate at San Pietro which was superb.
