The Manor, hotel in Whitehaven

Featuring a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Manor is set in St Bees, 26 km from Wasdale and 27 km from Muncaster Castle.

The property was just a short walk from the train station, however for drivers there is a large car park. We entered the bar area and welcomed in and taken to our room, had the usual complementary stuff, but the teas and coffees were fairly local, and nice, large shower. We had an evening meal excellent and breakfast also excellent, we enjoyed an evening walk around St Bees really enjoyed

We loved this property, a great start and end to our coast to coast journey. Hosts were friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating - charming. The property had everything we needed, and there is a mini Morrisons round the corner. A quiet residential neighbourhood 15' walk from town centre and sea front bars.

I always try to stay here when visiting with work. Great location as just off the main road to Westlakes and Sellafield but quiet. Also, a short walk into Whitehaven. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the food is good.
