After a long, long day on the Coast to Coast Trail, our stay was a very welcoming respite. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even loading us down with a few free energy bars for the road ahead.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Shiralee made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.. she also cooks a delicious English breakfast!! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. We liked everything. The location, the staff, the rooms..all was great! Thank you for having us

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. The location was fantastic! We were walking distance from a number of hikes, boat rentals, pubs, and swimming points. The bus stop was just around the corner. The breakfast was huge and tasty!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Beautifully presented, well located and spotless. We loved the decor and finishing touches. Hosts were exceptional and breakfast was AMAZING. We cannot recommend this property enough. We ate at San Pietro which was superb.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.
