Food was lovely...bed soft and warm cosy room lots of relaxation.. good night sleep and the best sleep I had all year..bath was big enough for a hour tho relax in and lots of reading and quiet day and night..well done Alton house hotel.. highly recommend five 🌟 rating

Wi-Fi gratis tersedia dan taman besar dengan area bermain anak-anak tersedia di hotel ini. a perfect small hotel in the middle of the English countryside ! the rooms were very clean and spacious and even though the room looked to the street , it was very quiet ! Breakfast was full English and we enjoyed every bite of it ! we really liked the pub right on the ground floor and it had a wonderful garden to sit outside but its people is always the best asset ! John was a marvellous host , always smiling and friendly and along with his wife , they run together the family business! we enjoyed every moment there , thank you again for your hospitality!

The staff are amazing. We stayed there before a family wedding in a nearby venue. Jane is so friendly and approachable and knows what I meant when I said at the bar I'll have a large glass of wine , it was a large glass. On the morning of the wedding we could not get a taxi to the wedding venue. when the staff heard this straight away, they picked up the phone and called a number of taxi service until they found one who would take us. We are so grateful and would definitely stay here again
