Everything was lovely, we did love it, we have used the company before and we were expecting the same level on this property as well, and it has not disappointed us.

The Market Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Alton. This 4-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. Bed comfy, staff very friendly, quiz night on the Wednesday when we stayed, hilarious. Bottled water in the room, much appreciated. Would recommend this hotel

Set in Alton, 3.2 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, The Crown Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Good location. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Staff very helpful. Amenities provided were good.

Set amid the shops on Alton's main street "Not to be confused with Alton (the home of Alton Towers) in the Midlands" the Swan Hotel is a historical building that dates back to 1377. Amazingly helpful staff with great service and friendly attitude, warmly decorated, clean rooms. A great location in the middle of Alton. Would definitely be back again.

Situated in spacious grounds, Alton House Hotel is the largest hotel in Alton featuring ample free parking and free Wi-Fi. Alton town centre is just a 5-minute walk. Location, friendly staff. Bed and pillows comfy. Shower good. Cosy fire at reception was welcoming.

The Poacher Inn, a property with a bar, is situated in Hook, 13 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, 20 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common, as well as 34 km from Highclere Castle. I like everything about The Poacher, but especially the people who worked there, and particularly the managers: Jayne and Jon. Terrific people who went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I stayed in four other inns during this trip, and my stay at The Poacher was, by far, the nicest.

Offering a bar and garden view, French Horn Chalets is located in Alton, 1 km from Jane Austen's House Museum and 16 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common. It was at a convenient location for my visit, walking distance to Jane Austen house or Alton. Alternatively you can take the bus. It's cute, tiny, but has everything needed for a short stay. It was quiet during the night. The pub next to it had really good dinner and breakfast, with attentive staff and nice local people hanging out.

Located 5.8 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, White Hart offers 4-star accommodation in Alton and features a bar. Beautiful inn with comfortable rooms and very kind and helpful staff. My daughter and I shared a room and they appointed it with hot chocolate and tea, the TV had good kids programs available and the downstairs pub had kids menus and was very kind to children overall. It was also stylishly decorated with beautiful country touches, delicious food and drinks, and the outdoor garden was lovely.
