On a scale of 1-10, this clearly is a straight 11. Within the first minutes of the arrival, I knew one night was not enough to enjoy the neither nor the island as such enough. The lodge was built on a great concept (as the name indicates - very ecologically driven), by wonderful people who will make everything to have you enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the São Vicente region, a 15-minute walk from Praia Da Laginha and 600 yards from Torre de Belem. The location in the heart of Mindelo near everything I wanted to see. The clean room with the giant bathroom. But most importantly, the team who were just amazing, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, Patricia would go out of her way to make your stay better, they put so much effort into the littlest details like when I asked if they do laundry, my clothes came back after two hours smelling like a meadow! When I had to leave the hotel very early in the morning they packed me a mini breakfast to eat while traveling..

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is located in Santa Maria, a few steps from Praia de Santa Maria. Hotel: Ocean Suites is much more than a hotel. The service and attention that you as a customer receive every day is great🤩. I stayed in room 2 (for me one of the nicest room)😌. The room was large, with good working air conditioning and a beautiful view of the popular square and main street.The servers were friendly one by one and want to do everything for you "NO STRESS". And every evening there is live music downstairs in the restaurant with good music. You dance💃🏾 until you can't feel your feet anymore (haha). For your safety, a security guard is present every night and after an evening out he will bring you safely to the entrance so that you can safely return to your room. Breakfast ,lunch and diner: Every morning I could choose between 3 different breakfast menus (American🥓, Cape Verde🫘 and Mediterranean🍅). All three were tasty and you get a lot! You can also enjoy a delicious meal there (lunch and dinner). Try their burger🍔 (one of the tastiest burgers in Cabo Verde!)🤌🏽.  The beach and the famous pier are a 3-minute walk from the hotel! All famous cafes and restaurants are a 5 or 6 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save money, book all activities through Dorry, which will save you 10 to 20 euros per excursion. And you can also arrange your transport to and from the airport through Dorry. Ocean Suites is for me the best hotel in Santa Maria! Adilson makes the best coffee☕️ for you in the morning. Janete serves you with her beautiful smile in the evening 😍(She has the most beautiful curls I had ever seen) And Flavio teaches you the coolest dance moves every evening💃🏾. Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. right in the centre of town the location is wonderfull. the old architecture with high ceilings is very nice, and great ocean views across to Brava. best of all are the excellent staff, who, in our case of an emergency went out of their way to help us - really left a lasting feeling of warmth with us

Black Mamba deserves its high rating. Everything was great-the ambiance, the kindness and conviviality of the owner and the location. She was so helpful for planning a hike, making travel arrangements, making drinks. A bonus was housemade pasta and pizza. When I misplaced the key : (( she was most gracious.
