It was one of our highlights of our whole Cabo Verde adventure.

Mustafa and his teams were great. They really pay attention to each guest and try to find ways to accomodate them. They have an excellent knowledge of all the different hikes you can do or other sports (via ferrata, bike, etc.) and help you find the appropriate guide for you. The food is tasty and with good ingredients. I would go back again.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though some of them didn’t speak very good English, they made a lot of effort to communicate with us. And they were very patient with our many requests. They also allowed us to check in earlier and check our later with no additional fees. Truly the best staff. The place looks better in real life than in the photos. It really has a colonial vibe. The AC worked perfectly - probably the best we experienced during our trip to Cabo Verde. We had an amazing view of the city, the sea and the Brava island (room no 9)

Located in São Filipe, a 12-minute walk from Sao Filipe Beach, Fogo Boutique Hotel provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Thank you Antonio, and all the staff especially Lu and Micaela they exceeded expectations. Exceptional customer service, i felt at home. FOGO Boutique HOTEL is definitely my go to hotel when visiting Fogo. The food is amazing, my only regret is that I didn’t get to taste the entire menu but i will be back soon.

Edificio Cosec Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Cova Figueira. The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of mountain, Txon DFogo Pensão Restaurante is located in São Filipe, a 5-minute walk from Sao Filipe Beach. Great location. Walking distance to stores. It can get a little noisy if your room is facing the entrance, but it’s not too crazy.

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sao Filipe. the location is great, next to the beach and in the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast very tasty. But most of all the friendly staff will help you out with anything. we rented a car at the reception, they picked us up at the airport for free and helped us out with our next stay in CV. Will definitely cone back here if I have the opportunity!
