Facing the beachfront, Hotel Savana offers 3-star accommodations in São Filipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Edificio Cosec Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Cova Figueira. The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.

Everything was perfect. The location and the view is spectacular, even better than the photos. And the staff went above and beyond with everything. We were treated so well. The food was also delicious. Would definitely come back!

Casa Marisa 2.0 features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Portela. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Casa Marisa is located inside the impressive Caldeira of Fogo. A very special and unique place. The bungalows and patio are lovely. Mustafa is very helpful and may organise guides for hiking tours and Marisa surely is one of the best cooks of the island. We spent a wonderful time and had a lot of fun with a group of portugese people staying there at the same time. Don´t miss watching the stars at night time! Hint: believe Mustafa if he tells you that bungalow #10 has 40°C even at night!

I can recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Sao Filipe. the location is great, next to the beach and in the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast very tasty. But most of all the friendly staff will help you out with anything. we rented a car at the reception, they picked us up at the airport for free and helped us out with our next stay in CV. Will definitely cone back here if I have the opportunity!

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of mountain, Txon DFogo Pensão Restaurante is located in São Filipe, a 5-minute walk from Sao Filipe Beach. Great location. Walking distance to stores. It can get a little noisy if your room is facing the entrance, but it’s not too crazy.
