Absolutely beautiful and the roof decks were gorgeous! Loved the apartment we rented for the last few days.

The room and food were just superb. We really loved the fact that they take care of the stray dog from the area and that they also play a social rol in the community. Well done 👏
Tarrafal by itself is nice to visit for a few days.
Tarrafal by itself is nice to visit for a few days. Beach, good restaurants, you can do hikes on Monte Graciosa, and Tras os Montes. Restaurant 'chez mama' has some hiking maps. And good food too.
I spent most of my time fishing. From the rocks at Punta Atum, of from a boat.
One thing to keep in mind. Tarrafal in August is hot. You can go up to Serra Malagueta where it is cooler. But rainy in August.

Very cosy little town with nice beach and friendly local people. You can eat very affordable in local bars/restaurants or choose European food in couple of restaurants. The center is quite small, so you walk around easy. Beach is nice and not too much people.

Amazing beach, friendly people, very nice "city" to walk around. Not much to do there so a couple of days are enough to get to know the place, but can't hurt to stay longer and just relax at the beach that is AMAZING!
You can eat at Cegonha, Buzios or at the Vista Mar hotel restaurant next to the beach!
Seafood and fish is really fresh.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight. Delicious and plentiful, with wonderfully friendly service! The front desk staff was available all day and until midnight to address any questions or concerns we had. They were flexible about extending our stay when we wanted to stay longer in charming Tarrafal, and even helped us move our personal items between rooms. And they helped us book a taxi for the return to Praia Airport! If I return to Tarrafal, I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
The place of the hotel is perfect around the bay. Great for a morning swim. Breakfast was really fresh en delicious.
The view from my room was to die for with a terras on the bay. And the coffeemaker in the room was perfect to start the day of with a good espresso!
Friendly staff and good maintained grounds.
Delfim is very helpful, can give you tips what/how to discover or where to hike and he can speak English. The location of the house will let you feel like a local - in the part where the locals live (not a "hotel zone"). The price conforms what you get.
The place was amazing and we had a great time talking to Antonio, learning mire about Tarrafal and other places in Cape Verde. Nice terrace,
very well equipped kitchen and close proximity to the beach and cafes/shops.
