Takasagoya Ryokan asub Zao Onsenis Yamagata piirkonnas. Külalised saavad kasutada avalikku sauna. Kolmetärnihotell asub Zao Onseni suusakuurordist 200 meetri kaugusel. The room size, staff service and food was spectacular. It was as competitive as the service I experienced in Kamikochi.

Looduslike kuumaveeallikatega Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya asub JR Tendo jaamast 15-minutilise jalutuskäigu ja Sendaist 50 km kaugusel. Everything, from the food to the room. I booked the smallest room which I did not know that there is a private onsen. My meals were in a separated room which I feel is better than having inside my own room. This hotel is worth staying for the experience. There are guests around but I was surprised to not hear any noises. I felt like I was being served as a royalty. The sake that I had, does not have any alcohol smell, it tasted so good and it had a cherry taste to it. I enjoyed the private outdoor onsen and I regretted not trying the public onsen. Also, breakfast usually starts at 730am but I had a train to catch, the hotel offered to serve breakfast at 7am. I was already awake at 5am to enjoy the onsen for the last time. My dinner was at 6pm which was the earliest timing.

Miyamaso Takamiya asub Zao Sky köisraudteest 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kohapeal on 9 looduslikku kuumaveeallikat. Everything is perfect! The amazing experience was starting from the transportation service. Then the check-in and dinner services, everything feels perfect! I can feel the staffs are all proud of this Hotel and its history and spirit. Thanks for Takamiya gave us such warm experience!

Ikkyu-Seaside Hotel- on Jaapani võõrastemaja Tsuruoka Yunohama Onseni piirkonnas. Merevaatega kolmetärnihotell asub Kamo akvaariumist 4 km kaugusel. the hotel is great, super clean, decor is simple elegant and comfortable. large sitting room facing occean, and the most beautiful sunset. fantistic meals, dinner and breakfast.

Oyado Morinone asub Kaminoyamas, Zao Onseni suusakuurordist 17 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on saun, kuumaveeallikavann ja avalik saun. Aiavaatega majutusasutusel on rõdu. This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff

Tsukaya Ryokan on üle 300 aasta vanune majutusasutus. Kõikides tubades on õlgmattidest tatamipõrandad. Of all the hotels and ryokans I stayed at during my two weeks traveling Japan, the night at Tsukasaya Ryokan was by far my favorite. Mrs. Shoji personally came out and greeted me at my taxi. From that moment onward, I felt as if I was receiving an experience personalized just for me. After showing me to my room, Mrs. Shoji informed me of several local attractions (parks, shrines, temples, etc.) that were lovely to visit prior to returning for dinner. Every moment of the stay felt thoughtfully crafted and authentic. The food was delicious, containing many dishes that I had never before experienced. The onsen, while small and enclosed, was at just the right temperature and left my skin feeling the best it has in years. The design of the structure was charming and authentic (as best that a foreigner like myself can judge). The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hagurokan asub ajaloolises hoones, mis paikneb rikaste ajalooga vaimsete mägede vahel. Külalisi ootavad traditsioonilised Jaapani stiilis toad. Fantastic stay from start to finish! The Rooms are spacious and cozy, the owner couple is super sweet and incredible nice, wished we would have had the time to stay for another night. do eat dinner and breakfast there, you won’t regret! It was an overall fantastic experience. 10/10.

Hotell Arimakan asub JR Kaminoyamaonseni raudteejaamast 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kohapeal on väljas paiknev kuumaveeallikavann, kust avaneb vaade ümbritsevatele mägedele. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Dinner was a truly cool experience, featuring exquisite Japanese cuisine that was both authentic and delicious. The onsen was also exceptional, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The overall vibe of the hotel was inviting and warm, making it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended!
