Onsen Guest House Tsutaya är ett 2-stjärnigt boende beläget i Hakone, 6,5 km från Hakone-Yumoto station och 48 km från Fuji-Q Highland. Vi bodde i ett mycket fint och rymligt familjerum med egen balkong och utsikt över det skogsbevuxna berget där ljudet från vattenfallet nedanför kunde höras. Vi älskade onsen med de varna baden. Mycket trevliga gemensamma utrymmen där man kunde förbereda eget frukost.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. We really enjoyed the traditional atmosphere with the modern touch. Amazing breakfast!

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

Centurion Hakone Bettei ligger i Hakone, 12 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en restaurang. The ryokan is up the mountain but they will provide you pick up and drop off service daily. Room is clean, well equipped and upscale. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. I spent 2 nights here. The private open air bath is really nice. Would stay here again if I am in the area.

Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan erbjuder rum i Hakone nära Kowakudani station och Skulpturparken Hakone. It was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was very clean, and spacious. The onsen, though small, was comfortable and lovely. The hotel manager really helped by recommending an itinerary and provided us with a lot of useful information. He was also a lovely man to have a chat with. Very kind and considerate.
