El Hoshidekan Ryokan (miembro del Japanese Inn Group) es un edificio de madera construido en la década de 1920 y situado a 500 metros de la estación de tren de Kintetsu Iseshi. This ryokan is so beautiful and has so much charm - and the private bath was amazing after a long day of walking. The owner is also very kind and helpful! I really enjoyed my stay here - location is excellent and walkable to all the main stations, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend.

Kii no Matsushima se encuentra en Kihokucho, a 48 km de Ubuta Shrine, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. The Kii No Matsushima ryokan is a unique Japanese experience. The place is perfect for discovering the coast (the beach is 200 meters away) but especially if you want to do one of the many sections of Kumano path. The family who runs this ryokan were extremely attentive to every detail of our stay. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The common areas are very clean, the bathrooms have a small onsen which is very pleasant at the end of the day! The highlight of the stay is the meals and breakfasts. The chef is a master of Japanese cuisine! Each dish transported us during the three nights we spent here, a treat! Local specialties are based on seafood and fish. We tasted many new flavors, always balanced and refined. We highly recommend this peaceful place, and hope to return.

Ise-Shima Ohtaya Healing Stay está en Toba, a 29 km de Gran Santuario de Ise y a 29 km de Oharai-machi. Ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. I really like this place. The female owner has an inquisitive mind, a warm personality, and a kind heart. Her English is good enough to communicate and ask for help. The sauna and the private onsen in the room are top-notch. I did not check the public onsen with natural hot spring, but heard it's amazing too. I booked the 5th floor with an ocean view, and the private onsen experience during starry night and the set rise were indeed amazing! The hotel itself is located in a remote little cute fish town called osatsucho, where you can find fishmen and women harvesting and selling the Ise lobsters in the morning by the port. It was a very unique and interesting experience to stay in that little town for two days during the winter when it was not crowded at all. The nearest convenience store is 10 + miles away. It was a very natural, grounding, even retreat-like experience to me, and it was drastically different from my experience in Tokyo, Nayoga, or Osaka. I did spot a few demolished houses with broken windows in the town, not sure if it's because of COVID or during the winter when there were fewer tourists. The big plus is the Shinmei shrine next door to the hotel, which is a very calming and spiritual place to visit and stay for a bit too.

El Hanashinsui, situado a 20 minutos en coche de la estación de tren JR de Toba, ofrece baños exteriores e interiores de aguas termales y de estilo japonés, así como salas occidentales con unas... A very beautiful Japanese-style inn with an amazing view of the mountains and ocean. The onsen is an absolute delight, especiallywith the nature view. Staff is very friendly and treat you with so much respect, driving you up and down the mountain and providing a free iced drink when you go out.

El Oishiya se encuentra a 5 minutos en coche de la estación de tren JR Futaminoura y ofrece baños públicos con vistas a la bahía de Ise y un restaurante japonés. Just a great experience. Very delicious dinner and breakfast. All staff very friendly.

El Todaya ofrece una piscina al aire libre y un restaurante en Toba. El establecimiento se encuentra a 3 minutos a pie de la estación JR de Toba y goza de una ubicación ideal para visitar Ise-Shima. The breakfast was delicious. The food tasted very fresh. We especially appreciated that many of the food stations had attendants preparing the dishes. It got very busy at one point, but we never had an issue getting our food. The shuttle to and from Toba Station was very convenient. We contacted the staff from a payphone at Toba Station. We were able to communicate our needs through our very limited knowledge of the Japanese language. The driver took our luggage and said they would store it till we checked in. This allowed us to continue on with our sightseeing plans without physically going to the hotel first. That really helped maximize our time in Toba! Wonderful Service!

Boasting hot spring baths and a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean, Toba International Hotel Shiojitei offers luxurious accommodation in Toba. Todo. Absolutamente todo. La atención del personal es increíble. Las instalaciones y el onsen maravilloso. Y la cena y el desayuno son excelentes, servidos en un comedor privado. Es un ryokan aunque no lo anuncien como tal. Super recomendable.

La posada Kaigetsu, de estilo japonés, se encuentra a solo 300 metros de la estación de Toba y ofrece habitaciones cómodas. Specificity of the hotel is that meals have to be ordered in advance, at booking stage. Otherwise no meals (not even breakfast) are available. It is an od japanese style Inn, you leave your shoes at the entrance and the home shoes at the entrance to your room. Very convenient room of two parts: one with beds and the other of living room style equipped with a japanese table 20 cm high and sitting on the flour (tatami). All very nice ! The host drove us to the station nearby and offered onigiri for the trip. Extremely nice and kind.
