Staff and service were beyond expectations. And they were wonderful with our children (9 & 12yo). They also setup the futons for us while we were out for dinner. We really wished we stayed more than one night - we will be back!

Absolutely amazing ryokan in the most beautiful village. Our best and most amazing stay in Japan. The dinner and breakfast were superb. The confort was out of this world and the host was so nice and attentive. Absolutely recommend!

Set less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Oyado Kikutani offers 3-star accommodation in Kyoto and features a garden. The private onsen was wonderful and the views from the room were peaceful. The owner was the most wonderful host and we would love to stay here again next time we visit Kyoto!

In the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features a garden and a washing machine. The hosts went out of their way way to ensure I had a great time during my stay in Kyoto. They were exceptionally kind.
