The staff was extremely friendly (special mention for a charming Japanese young lady who had studied in Spain, and having learned that one of our sons liked Real Madrid, went our of her way to print tickets, the typical fan song, etc and deliver it to his room the next day), all perfectly fluent in English. The breakfast was delicious (choice between Japanese or Western-style), served in a private room for our family. The rooms come look like traditional ryokan but with modern equipment, including private outside hot baths, shower, etc. Definitely recommend!

Their English was great, and they were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. The cleanliness of the ryokan was impeccable. Initially, I was hesitant about sleeping on a tatami mat, but it turned out to be the best sleep I've ever had!"
