Craig and Helene are just the nicest people, we would 100% stay here again!

The ryokan features a hot tub and luggage storage space. Spent the night here in Kyoto and wish I had booked another one! The staff is very friendly, prompt and kindly let us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The dinner option was also spectacular, with fluent english staff and a great pace to have a wagyu tasting.

I loved this property, everything was so nice, clean, and modern, while still keeping the traditional vibe of Kyoto. I can’t recommend enough this place. The girls at the reception were so nice and helped us with everything that we needed. We even got a bottle of wine as a gift for our honeymoon. I will definitely choose this place again next time. I know it is on the pricy side, but the value you get is simply amazing. You will not be disappointed.
