It also boasts a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. front desk stuff speak well english that explained all we need, and she was so kind. really appreciated. Room size was bigger that I expected. Public bathes was great condition and well keep cleaned. Dinner and breakfast was extraordinary. I love to stay if I will visit next time.

Situated in Aso, 42 km from Kumamoto Castle, Syukubo Aso features accommodation with a public bath. The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Mount Aso is 7.3 km from the ryokan and KK Wings is 33 km away. This is my second time staying at Syukubo Aso. The staffs are friendly with attention to detail. We feel very comfortable. The homemade dinner and breakfast are still the best. We are amazed and enjoyed the dinner. The location is located in small local neighbourhood and is nice to take a evening walk.

Featuring tatami (woven-straw) flooring, each room at this ryokan in air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV. Selected units feature a seating area. You will find Japanese Yukata robes, slippers and a hairdryer in all rooms. Rooms come with a private toilet. Bathing facilities are shared. Great ryokan with very good onsens. Rooms are comfortable, dinner and breakfast tasty and interesting. And of course the village in total is geat. There are 5 onsens that has been changing from ladies to gents once a day, and 2 private onsens. It was so good to relax there. Next time will stay there again

Surrounded by forest, tranquil Yamashinobu features public and private hot spring baths, an astronomical observatory and a piano. Some Japanese-style accommodations boast a private open-air hot spring bath. Free Wi-Fi and a choice of colourful free-use yukata robes are available. Everything was just perfect. Every little detail was thought off and the staff was absolutely amazing in making my stay become like a dream. The food was amazing too, a well balanced breakfast in the morning and a full on Kaiseki dinner in the evening. I had my own indoor and outdoor Onsen which was also great. It was actually the best stay I've ever had in my entire life.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Free Wi-Fi is offered in the public area, and parking is available for free. I cannot praise it enough! The staff were beyond helpful and interested in making our time there memorable! The food was absolutely amazing, the design- fully traditional Japanese, the baths really comfy! Hopefully I will have a chance to stay again!
