Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Wauw, the stay was amazing. Even though we stayed only one night (because it is a bit expensive) we felt cpmpletly relaxed. The room was very spacious and pretty and the three private onsen baths were incredible. The staff made us feel at home and even gave us a free milk for after the onsen and a coupon for a free coffee.

Super near to bus station and just a walking distance to the yubatake and wear their nice yukata. Provided breakfast with very beautiful decor.

The owner is very friendly and welcoming and provided a lot of great insights to the history of the property. This was definitely the most unique stay we had in Japan and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Mr. Tendou!

The dinner was perfect and enough food for 2 days! Rooms were specious with a view on the stream. Next to the accommodation is a beautiful park with multiple footbaths and the street to the centre is filled with souvenir shops and unique eats. The staff were real accommodating, especially the hostes was exceptionally welcoming, sweet and lovely! The in-house onsen and sauna was extremely relaxing. 11 out of 10!

Amazing service Great staff, they are super polite, helpful and guiding. Shuttle service is available and quite flexible. Excellent onsen. Very clean, stylish. Sky bath is rocky, the view is breathtaking. Very clean facility. Food is very delicious. Many different stuff in one meal. You don't need a lunch actually. Breakfast is also quite loaded. Also they leave small Japanese sweets for afternoon :) Great ryokan experience, very comfortable beds, yukatas are very stylish and comfortable. View is amazing. The region is very nice for hiking.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. This was one of my favourite stays during my trip to Japan! Our twin room was cosy, comfortable and so clean. The beds were the comfiest we had in Japan; I had the most relaxing sleep while staying here. We absolutely loved the breakfast we had, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and friendly. Their hospitality was the highlight of the trip! We stayed two nights and the chef made us a different meal each morning, and took us through the dishes as he brought them to us, and we were given delicious welcome sweets and matcha when we arrived. The breakfast room was so cosy with a fireplace and free coffee and tea. The location is excellent and easy to find; it was only a couple of minutes walk to the bus terminal and to the Yubatake, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The four private onsen are also wonderful. We got to try out two, and we never found that we had to wait or miss out on using one of them when we wanted to. I loved the little baskets containing towels, pyjamas and toiletries that we were given. There are plenty of toiletries available in each of the onsen, and the pyjamas were so comfortable I wish I could have brought a pair home!

The room was clean and very spacious! The hotel offers pyjamas and Yukatas for guests. The breakfast was so tasty and the service was incredible! The Onsen is private and available from 3pm to 9am. Overall we loved our experience and would come back anytime.

The kaiseki cuisine was a memorable experience, the open air onsen was great, the staff gave good recommendations on places to visit in town and were super friendly. Small yet cozy town, will definitely come back again!

מלון הושי אונסן צ’וג’וקאן (Houshi Onsen Chojukan) ממוקם לאורך נהר הושי (Houshi) ומציע מרחץ מעיינות חמים ציבורי, יחידות אירוח בסגנון יפני עם אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם ומאכלים מהמטבח היפני. The location is beautiful, the room was extremely relaxing, the baths and food were amazing. A person speaking English well seemed to have been responsible for me, and I felt comfortable asking him all of my questions, as this was my first experience of anything similar. I could use the baths although I have large tattoos. Could get there completely by public transport - although note that one of the buses runs on a different schedule than what google maps believes. The baths are not very large, so perhaps one should read beforehand on the expected behavior.

Oyado Tamaki offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a traditional garden with benches where guests can sit and relax in. Very nice location, wonderful service
