Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Amazing stay at this ryokan fully furnished , there was an amazing onsen in the room and 3 other onsens to use in the ryokan. The people working here are really welcoming and helpful ! Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu

Oyado Yukizumi asub Gunma piirkonnas Kusatsus. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Külalised saavad kasutada kuumaveeallikat. Amazing facilities - big spacious room, very clean. The onsen is great with natural spring water, very clean and tidy, if a bit small but it’s no issue.

Set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. Worth the price that i paid. Really good dinner ! Room i stayed was huge (could easily fit 5-6 adults) with high ceiling. This place puts you in peace and serenity.

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata asub Kusatsus, 45 km kaugusel Jigokudani ahvipargist ja 14 km kaugusel Kusatsu Shirane mäest. Majutusasutuses no Yu (Adults Only) on konditsioneer. A homely hotel with the best dinner I have had in japan so far.

Minakamisansou asub Minakamis, kõigest 36 km kaugusel Gala Yuzawa Snow kuurordist. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann, ühine puhkeruum ja lift. Neljatärni rjokani kõigist tubadest avaneb vaade mägedele. We had a lovely view of the mountains. The private onsen was very nice, but the public onsen is very good as well! The staff is very nice and always accomodating. If you like traditional Japanese food, you'll love what they serve during the evening and morning. I recommend to stay at this ryokan either during fall (momiji) or winter. We were a bit too early for the heavy snowfalls, but still managed to catch some snow the second evening. Even without the snow it was lovely. I can imagine it looks amazing with the fall colors!

The service of the three people ( may be the owner) are very warm and kindness.

Neljatärnihotell Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso asub Nakanojos, 36 km kaugusel Ishidan-gai trepist. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann. Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus on Naeba suusakuurordist 49 km kaugusel. AMAZING. If I could, I'd stay there at least once a week every month :") no wonder it was one of the references for the movie Spirited Away. The staff is really kind and understand English kinda well, even though the place is huge, they give you a map to find your room and how to find yourself in the complex building. We stayed in the Mori Room and it was definitely beyond our expectations. The room was so big, it felt like you were actually booking a spacious apartment to stay rather than only a room. Also, there were local snacks replaced daily and selected beverages at our disposal in the room, all for free. The view was incredible, especially when bathing in the private onsen in the room. They had sliding doors to cover the glass walls, so it wasn't too bright in the morning, unlike what many people complain when staying at a ryokan. And of course, the spotlight of our stay: They place you on a PRIVATE ROOM for the meals, with a relaxing ambient sound and a view of their garden while serving you a whole course of Japanese meal on the fancy side.

Houshi Onsen Chojukan asub Houshi jõe ääres. Kohapeal on avalik kuumaveeallikate bassein, Jaapani stiilis majutusruumid, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja Jaapani köök. This place is just on the top of my ranking. A real Japanese experience with all the necessary detail to make the stay unforgettable. The different baths super clean and with history. The meals offered were delightful. And the environment just as needed, calm, serene and peaceful.

Oyado Tamaki pakub siseruumides ja väljas asuvaid kuumaveeallikate vanne ning traditsioonilist aeda, kus on pingid, kus külalised saavad istuda ja lõõgastuda. The property is near public transportation, which is a big plus for a solo traveller without a car. I took a room with a private onsen, which was really enjoyable. The dinner and breakfast were all excellent. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I really felt warm-hearted when they tried to explain the dinner menu in english and did a handwritten english translation of the breakfast menu. They also offered to drop me off at the bus station and reminded me when to expect the bus. It was incredibly sweet. I do love the area as it was a good break from the city’s hustle and bustle. The Ikaho footsteps is about a 5-minute walk. It has a lot of shops so it is a good distraction while climbing the stairs.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely lovely to experience, with an amazing assortment of different dishes that seem small but are very filling. The rooms stay warm even though it is freezing outside, and the onsen is absolutely lovely in the weather. There are people who speak English that make you feel right at home, and give you very precise instructions on how to get to the onsen from your rooms. Staff are wonderful, please come here if you can make it!
