The room was very big and the hotel was perfect. The onsen is also very nice and inside the hotel there are some activities such as wearing a yukata or late noodles in the night which are already included on the price.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. An excelent lake front hotel with very comfortable rooms and onsen. The meals were very good and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Excelent place to arrive to in Japan and catch a glimpse at Mt Fuji.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever been to!

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Its so nice and clean. All the ryokan style logding one could hope for. Excellent.

Oyado Koto No Yume er í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Takayama-stöð og býður upp á litrík herbergi í japönskum stíl. Everything was simply perfect. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly! The rooms are spacious and while a bit dated, they are clean and very cozy. Being able to book a private hot bath was also very welcome. It is only a few minutes away from the Train/Bus station, but as soon as you enter the domain of the hotel, it feels as if you step from the city straight into an Onsen town. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Room was lovely and spacious. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Amazing dinner and breakfast

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Lovely hotel with great facilities. Clean and gorgeous looking aesthetic in a beautiful old house. Female dorm room was clean and good value. Good luggage storage facilities.

Nunoya Ryokan er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Matsumoto-stöðinni og 4,3 km frá Japan Ukiyo-e-safninu. Boðið er upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi í Matsumoto. The location was perfect. Really close to the castle and train station. The staff is so helpful and tries to make your stay better! They give you lots of tips and advice to discover Matsumoto and surrounding area. We were interested on visiting Shirakawa-go but finally couldn’t go. The hotel staff prepared the bus info to get there. Really helpful, thanks!:)

Situated in Kanazawa in the Ishikawa region, with Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden nearby, 黒梅屋 Kurumiya features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot... This place is a GEM! We loved everything about our stay at Kurumiya. The staff is so dedicated and friendly. They really care about offering the best service. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very nice, stocked with nice amenities and we made good use of the private Onsen after walking all day. Its a small boutique hotel decorated with taste and with attention to details, it is perfectly located so you can walk everywhere to the main attractions in Kanazawa. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Iroriyado Hidaya er nýlega enduruppgert 4 stjörnu gistirými í Takayama, 1,6 km frá Takayama-stöðinni. Það er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu og einkabílastæði. Everything !! From the great welcome we received to the food and the rooms and the comfy memory foam Futons ! Not to mention the Kimono try outs and fitting which was so fun for the family. And the special treatment that the kids received from the attentive staff. An amazing experience, we were so sad to leave
