Situated in Senboku and only 15 km from Nyuto Hot Spring, Kashintei Shirahama features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is facing a beautiful lake and it’s a relaxing setting for those busy people coming to decompress there. They have outdoor and indoor, private Onsen ofurô, and the room was wide and spacious, including areas such as bathroom and shower, with separation of spaces, providing privacy. The eating/working room was across from the room which allowed my husband to read and check emails without distractions. All in all it’s a well thought space setting. Kudos to the architect.

Yukemuri no Yado Inazumi Onsen has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Yuzawa. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. food was excellent with local specialties. staff did their best to translate and explain in english. free midnight ramen was a nice surprise. be sure to organize shuttle service from yuzawa in advance and be aware that currently many connections to the south and west are restricted due to heavy rain damage.

Located in Kazuno, within 38 km of Appi Kogen Ski Resort, Yuze Hotel is an accommodation offering garden views. Location is good but no public transportation available. Both breakfast and dinner are included, lots of variety of food

7.6 km from Nyuto Hot Spring in Senboku, Aoni Sanso features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. The room was very comfy, as shown in the photographs. The dinner and breakfast were excellent - some of the best food we had in Japan. The private onsen was great, beautiful outlook onto the snow, water not too hot. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our very poor Japanese - google translate worked well for us all!

The location is strategic, close to Lawson and petrol station if you are driving and offer shuttle bus to train station. Public one is good, with one indoor and 2 outdoor pools with temperature around 41 degrees C for the indoor pool. And private bath is available, first come first serve, and nice lake view.

Situated in Daisen, 11 km from Omagari Station, Misato Town Community Lodge Wakuasu features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The 2-star ryokan is 26 km from Kakunodate Station.

Excellent onsen hotel. Great amenities and the large bath is open throughout the night (3pm to 6:30am). Great breakfast.
