Mountain Side Hakuba offers views of the mountains and the ski slopes during the winter season. The property is just a 3-minute walk away from a local ski and snowboard shop. Mountain Side had everything you could need. From amazing customer service to all the facilities. The complimentary shuttle was also great. The location was great - ski in and out.

This lounge is so special that you can wait for your dinner table (because of the tight reservation in Christmas season) there while drinking your drinks by a bonfire, this even makes waiting a wonderful experience...

Set in Shinano, 25 km from Zenkoji Temple, Nojiri Lake Resort offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Peaceful location with a spacious room and comfortable bed - finally a bed that fit my 6 foot 2 inch husband. Gorgeous lake view from our balcony and plenty of hiking opportunities. Quick train ride to Nagano for any attractions and then back to peace and quiet on the lake. Ted was an amazing host. So down to earth and inviting, and always willing to help with any plans. Plus he makes a great breakfast. Exceeded our expectations!! Could spend weeks here. Would love to go back!

Offering a magnificent view of Mount Asama, Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel features an 18-hole golf course and a spa. This is a hotel located in a country golf club. Facilities first class. Dinner was a 4 course western fine dining.. scallop appetiser done 2 ways, a fish, a meat dish and dessert. Fantastic meal. The half board dinner plan is preferred as prices are at a discount to a la carte prices. Lovely onsen. Beautiful views from room.

Located in a tranquil area surrounded by natural beauty. The hotel offers a shuttle and a luggage delivery service between JR Karuizawa Station south exit and the hotel. Grand Prince is the quietest among all the Prince Hotels in Karuizawa. I enjoyed the quietness and relaxing atmosphere. The daily lounge facilities available to all guests from 10am to 8pm was great! The french dinner ( paid) was exquisite and reasonably priced.

With garden views, Echoland Madarao エコーランド斑尾 Free shuttle to the ski resort is located in Madarao Kogen and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden and terrace. Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.
