Our stay was wonderful in the sunrise chalet (you get to see the sunrise above the dunes). The outside area is very spacious and includes a swimming pool and a garden terrace. The two separate rooms with one double bed and three single beds are great for a family. Hot tub and billiard too. The activities in the desert (dunes bashing at sunset and camel riding) were very well organised. The manager invited us for a campfire to drink tea and eat corn on the cob. We had a fun time under the stars talking through the evening.

Located in Fulayj al Mashāʼikh, Queen Desert camp offers barbecue facilities. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. This was a great way to get a bit deeper into the dune sea and enjoy a world away from the usual urban hustle-bustle. There was only one other couple there on the night I stayed. The food was great and watching the sunset over the dunes was spectacular. They also arranged a camel ride at the closer-in camp, and this was also a new experience that I was looking to have while in the desert.

Situated in Sur, 44 km from Al Hadd Fort, Arkan Al Barzah Hotel Apartment features views of the city. A very successful stay. The room was clean. We had a large, comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly. Sur is a good base for exploring this part of Oman. Recommended.

Falcon Grand Hotel offers accommodation in Al Ḩadd near Al Hadd Turtle Beach and Al Hadd Fort. This 2-star hotel offers a concierge service. Hotel seems very new, the room was huge, with a nice design and clean. Bathroom was also nice. the access is very easy from the main road, at the begging of Ras Al Hadd village. The person at the reception also suggested us a very good restaurant, one of the best of our stay in Oman.

Super OYO 110 Ras Al Hadd Guest House is located in Al Ḩadd, 27 km from Sur. Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The staff is always kind and the breakfast is good but they usually late with preparing

Bidiyah Domes is located in Bidiyah. The hotel provides city views and a terrace. What should I write about this magical place on earth. A unique and magical experience. Besides the warm hospitality. Very clean, excellent service, excellent access, excellent facilities, location. Really a 10/10 A must on your Oman itinerary. Don't miss the sunrise over the dunes - truly a once in a lifetime experience. A+++++

The Sur Plaza Hotel is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. Staffs were super kind and helpful. Customer service is absolutely amazing.
