You feel part of the beautiful, quiet and peaceful desert. The small scale of the camp makes it very personal, one of the main reasons I chose this camp. Camp is beautiful and set up with nice eye for detail. The tents are very comfortable and equipped with all comforts. Home cooked dinner and breakfast were delicious. Easy to reach with a decent 4x4. In my opinion a much more true experience of the desert compared to the larger camps….! Thanks Amer!

He initiated and got cake, candles to celebrate anniversary of one of our group. Enjoyed the sunset in the dunes. Highly recommend the dessert stay.

Featuring panoramic views of the beach through the large glass windows, Sur Grand Hotel offers offers a relaxing roof top pool. Each room features a beautiful view of the beach. I say this from the bottom of my heart that I could not recommend another hotel more than Sur Grand Hotel! We had 2 flat tires an hour out of sur at midnight. Hotel had 24 hour reception, Hussein picked up within a few rings and was so reassuring, chartered a taxi back for us and arranged for everything the next day to help us fix our tires even though it was a weekend. Owner of hotel even came down to send his regard and make sure we were ok. Truly wonderful experience of Omani hospitality! Other than that, room was impeccable, had a free upgrade with balcony view, breakfast was sumptuous

Hotel seems very new, the room was huge, with a nice design and clean. Bathroom was also nice. the access is very easy from the main road, at the begging of Ras Al Hadd village. The person at the reception also suggested us a very good restaurant, one of the best of our stay in Oman.
