You can really relax in this apartment in all weather. It is not waterfront for view but very close and a great base to explore Akaroa and Banks Peninsula from. We came and went during our stay. Restaurants 1 min walk away

Lovely property located along a creek and in walking distance close to Akaroa town center. Extraordinary manager, Erica - welcoming, informative, accommodating (she set up and equiped barbecue at my request), and attentive in keeping room and outside area spotlessly clean. Useful kitchenette with all utensils and accessories with a charming over a softly running creek at rear of room providing the perfect ambience for a private meal.
What a great concept! Felt so cozy! Loved the instruction booklet - bring your humour ☺️. I really enjoyed the size of the kitchen too. Everything is well thought out. Met with the staff on the way out and she was so lovely to chat with.

Lovely self-contained cottage, beautifully decorated with antiques, fine linens and all the amenities. Small, but spacious with well equipped kitchen and everything one needs for self-catering.

Sharron & Noel went that extra mile to make our holiday extra special. The historical home was set in romantic gardens - trees 160 years old - native birds. Loved sitting under the verander taking coffee with home baking. The breakfast was a dream berries, pastries and those amazing cooked breakfast. Our hosts had thought of everything to make our stay extra special.
We recieved a very warm welcome from Sharon and John at their wonderful homestead in the rural valley with a stunning view. Unfortunately we stayed only one night in this amazing suite.
Very comfortable bed. The location was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding and the hosts were very helpful.
The property consists of 2 apartments. We had the Penthouse on top of the building. It had amazing views over Akaroa Harbour. The property is an easy 20min walk along the waterfront to the centre of Akaroa where there are many dining venues. "The Common" was frequented by us a lot during our stay!
The sheep! were sweet, great view from the deck and cozy cottage. We loved and will return. 12 minutes to Akaroa but sooo peaceful!
It was a beautiful location and the staff was super helpful.
