This was the second time we’ve stayed there. Years apart. The location is great, everything we need is there. The property manager’s made everything easy.

The staff were very nice and kind.

Port Levy B & B Christchurch ligger ca. 45 km fra Christchurch Station og har havudsigt, privat strandområde, spa- og wellness-center samt gratis cykler. Everything was perfect. Peaceful and private location with stunning views. A garden full of interesting and colourful plants. The spa pool overlooking the sea is heavenly. Hosts Martin & Verity are warm, welcoming and chatty without being intrusive. Verity’s amazing artwork and sculptures are on display in the house and her studio. And these 2 can cook up a storm. Our 3 course dinner was just beautiful and had the presentation of a top restaurant. Effort was also made with the ambience - soft lighting, elegant table setting and relaxing music. Breakfast was fit for a king and so much of the food was hand made and sourced fresh from their own property. Lovely places to sit and take in the views. Small private beach to enjoy.

Even though it was the middle of summer, Akaroa experienced a cold snap during our stay so the fireplace was welcomed. Cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped.

Jacqui was a wonderful hostess, with nothing too much trouble and great to chat with. The whole place was spotless and comfortable, very homely and breakfast was excellent and just enough to set us up for the day ahead. We loved our stay and will be back.
